Do you have a dream to accomplish something amazing by using your talent? Having an exhibit of his paintings was Logan’s big dream and he achieved it with his first art show ever. This news story captures that event.
In the Media
Our family first appeared in the media and on television when the news covered Logan's first art exhibit Nature’s in the Details in 2006.
In 2010, we made historic, scientific, worldwide news by becoming the first family ever to have our entire genome sequenced. Two genes were found for the first time. One causes the rare disease, Miller syndrome, and the other causes a lung disease called primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). These two separate diseases affect both Heather and Logan. Later in 2010, I published my book, Eight Fingers and Eight Toes: Accepting Life’s Challenges.
In 2015, the news covered Logan's art exhibit, Syndrome Psychology. That year also brought successful funding for Logan’s documentary Kickstarter project called Logan's Syndrome, which won Best Feature Documentary in the Carmel Film Festival, Oct, 2017. We are looking forward to the documentary coming out in the winter of 2018. Check back often to see this exciting news announcement!
